One of the pillars of the Project is the Socially Driven Green Labs methodology, mainly inspired by the Living Labs methodology, while focusing on specific thematic areas and the cultivation of Green Skills among HEI students.
Stimmuli for Social Change is in charge of aligning the SDGLAbs educational model with the Living Labs methodology. Currently, the theoretical part of the SDG Labs is being created, and it would be delivered through the Teacher’s Handbook.
The importance of the Living Lab is the Living environment that promotes and supports a symbiotic innovation, development and research overall. An additional key characteristic, is the transformational effect on the end-users, as they themselves become active participants of a co-creative ecosystem, instead of passive observers. That effect becomes even more crucial in a student’s-centre educational framework.
